Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Unicodez Inc. collects, uses, and protects your information.

Effective Date: January 1, 2024 | Last Updated: April 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you contact us, submit a project inquiry, apply for a job, or engage our services. This may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and any project details you share with us.

We do not collect personal information through automated means such as cookies or tracking pixels unless explicitly disclosed. Our website may use essential cookies required for basic site functionality only.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the purpose of delivering our services, responding to your inquiries, processing job applications, and communicating with you about your projects. We may also use your contact information to send relevant updates about our services, but only with your explicit consent.

We never use your personal data for profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose other than what was disclosed at the time of collection.

3. No Data Sharing with Third Parties

Unicodez does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Your data is yours, and we treat it with the utmost respect and confidentiality.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting or email delivery services) strictly as needed to operate our business, and only under binding confidentiality agreements that prohibit any further use or disclosure of your data.

4. Client Project Confidentiality

All client project information, including but not limited to source code, business logic, technical architectures, databases, API designs, and proprietary algorithms, is treated as strictly confidential. We implement robust access controls to ensure that only authorized team members working on your project can access your data.

We execute Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with all clients upon engagement. Our employees and contractors are bound by confidentiality obligations as a condition of their engagement with Unicodez.

We do not use client project data, code, or intellectual property for any purpose other than delivering the contracted services. Client work is never repurposed, resold, or used as training data for any internal or external systems.

5. Application and Software Privacy

Applications and software systems we develop on behalf of clients are built with privacy-by-design principles. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect end-user data processed by the applications we build, including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control, and secure authentication mechanisms.

We follow industry best practices including OWASP guidelines for secure software development. All applications undergo security testing before deployment, and we advise clients on data protection obligations relevant to their specific use cases and jurisdictions.

Upon project completion or contract termination, all client data, source code, and related materials are either transferred to the client or securely deleted in accordance with the client agreement, with written confirmation provided.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted communications (TLS/SSL), secure development environments, access logging, regular security audits, and employee security training.

Our infrastructure is hosted on enterprise-grade cloud platforms with SOC 2 compliance, automated backups, and disaster recovery capabilities. We regularly review and update our security practices to address emerging threats.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Contact form submissions and job applications are retained for a maximum of 12 months unless a longer relationship is established.

Client project data is retained only for the duration of the engagement plus any contractually agreed retention period. Clients may request deletion of their data at any time, and we will comply within 30 business days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. You may also object to or restrict certain processing of your data, and you have the right to data portability where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@unicodez.com. We will respond to your request within 30 business days. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. International Data Transfers

As a global company with offices in the United States and India, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data during any such transfer, including standard contractual clauses and data processing agreements.

10. Changes to This Policy
