Network Administrator

About the Role

We are looking for a Network Administrator to manage and maintain our office network infrastructure in Bhopal. You will ensure reliable, secure connectivity for our team, configure and monitor firewalls, VPNs, and networking equipment, and support the IT needs of a globally distributed software development company.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls
• Manage VPN connections for secure remote access and inter-office connectivity
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime
• Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls
• Manage DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory services
• Support workstation setup, software installation, and IT helpdesk requests
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and procedures
• Plan and execute network upgrades and capacity expansions

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in network administration or IT infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configuration
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or similar networking equipment
• Understanding of network security best practices
• Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux administration
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certification
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet)
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG)
