Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Developer to design and build robust server-side applications and APIs. You will work on high-impact projects for global clients, developing microservices, optimizing database performance, and deploying solutions on cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for engineers who love building reliable, scalable backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Node.js, Python, Go, or Java
• Build and optimize database schemas for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Write unit tests, integration tests, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to define API contracts
• Monitor application performance and resolve production issues
• Document technical specifications and API endpoints

Requirements

• 2-5 years of professional backend development experience
• Proficiency in at least one: Node.js, Python, Go, or Java
• Strong understanding of database design (SQL and NoSQL)
• Experience with RESTful API design and microservices patterns
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services
• Understanding of version control (Git) and agile workflows
• Strong analytical and debugging skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Cloud Functions)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
